FTP Accounts in Website Hosting
Our website hosting plans will permit you to create numerous FTP accounts with just a few mouse clicks through the Hepsia Control Panel and to define what website files and folders each account can access. There’s no upper limit on the total number of FTP accounts that you are allowed to set up, so you will be able to have as many as you like at any particular time. In case you don’t want to use a specific FTP account any longer or in case a designer has fulfilled their task and you do not want them to access the website content any longer, you can simply remove that account. The FTP section of the Hepsia Control Panel will allow you to view all currently active accounts displayed alphabetically, along with various options, which you can access with a single click of the mouse. You’ll be able to edit the password and the access path, to download an auto-configuration file, etcetera. We also have a comprehensive Help section, which will help you manage your FTP accounts if you come across any impediment.
FTP Accounts in Semi-dedicated Servers
When you host your Internet sites in a semi-dedicated server account, you will be able to create a different FTP account for each of them, as we have not limited this feature with any of our semi-dedicated packages. You can do this via the FTP section of our easy-to-work-with Hepsia Control Panel where you can also check the complete list of all the accounts that you’ve created, along with the folder that each one can connect to. If needed, you’ll be able to edit the password for a given account or to update its access path with a few mouse clicks. You can also remove an account without efforts in case you do not need it any longer – for instance, if you’ve hired a web designer who is finished with the website and you don’t want them to be able to access your files any longer. For the sake of convenience, we’ve compiled different how-to videos, that will help you manage your FTP accounts with ease in case you’ve never used a hosting plan before.
